And the Prep Goes On

I love coincidences.  Who knew that the first day I start my blog that I would run into one of the most polished and stylish men I have seen in a long time.  I was just minding my own business, going through my normal routine of counting the seemingly endless seconds til my favorite acai bowl from The Brick and the Bell Café is ready to be devoured, when a flash of green caught my eye.  I turned my head to see Lavin, an impeccably dressed prepster sporting Kelly green corduroys, a blue gingham button down shirt, tortoise shell glasses, and a herringbone vest.  I was in awe; it took all my will power not to go up and ask for a photo.  But then…I saw his shoes: weathered brown Oxfords were the cherry on top of this perfect ensemble.  I approached him and snapped a shot, and afterwards learned that he’s an employee at Ralph Lauren.  I wasn’t surprised, but I was shocked that he was a sales associate instead of a model found in the pages of RL’s Summer Catalogue!  I think I’m gonna go on a hunt for some fab cords now…thanks for the inspiration, Lavin!
